My Practice
Neglect in childhood – such as a lack of connection, warmth, a sense of belonging or loving attention – appears repeatedly as adulthood patterns of disconnection and disengagement. The work I began in Croatia to break these destructive patterns continues in Los Angeles with children and families, and constitutes the basis of my therapeutic passion.
Each person has a part inside that remains perfect and untouched by their life’s difficult circumstances. This is called “personal agency and resilience.”
I will bring a blend of training, professionally developed psychotherapeutic techniques, and my own personal experiences, to form a holistic approach designed to overcome that perception of not being good enough, and to maximize your own inner strength. We will differentiate your past from your present in terms of cognition, emotions, body sensations and behaviors. I will offer you support, show genuine interest, and help you to take initiative in your own life.
Together we will find a path for navigating life’s difficulties and find more creative and productive solutions as your therapy progresses. Let’s get started!

Sandplay Therapy
Sandplay is based on Jung’s idea that the psyche has self-healing capacity that can find its voice through symbolism. One’s unconscious comes out in a sandtray. The sandplay process speaks in the language of dreams, childhood and the unconscious. When one works in the sandtray, they could discover a new way of resolving issues by bringing unconscious into conscious through the visual medium of sandtray and symbols.
