Hello,
My work has been focused solely on empowering others to become happy and whole and I consider psychotherapy to be my life’s calling.
I immigrated with my family to Los Angeles, CA from Zagreb, Croatia in 1995, as the war there was ending. Although we left behind a home, friends, and a family that we loved, we considered ourselves fortunate to be in pursuit of a new beginning. I had been studying Gestalt and Transactional Analysis, and Social Psychiatry in Croatia, and prepared to continue studying psychotherapy in my new home.
While in the United States, I studied Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Jungian Sandplay, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting (BSP), and earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles, CA. I have been practicing psychotherapy since 2010 and consider learning a lifelong endeavor.
